room; bedroom; health club; dance club...you want to look the part. Luckily the hosiery
industry matches the many facets of our individual styles, from tights, pantyhose, thigh
highs, stockings, and those in between.
There is no magic pantyhose that lasts forever. Hosiery today is
better than ever, stronger, sheerer, & more comfortable. An important thing to
remember, regarding hosiery, the more sheer the product, the more fragile it is. |

to the degree of sheerness of the hosiery. |
There
is a right way to put on hosiery ! |
Most important take a few minutes to
put them on properly, and follow these simple directions.
1. Remove all jewelry, and check fingernails and toenails for rough edges.
{ This greatly reduces those maddening "they ran as soon as I put them on, kind of
mornings. }
2. Roll each leg of the pantyhose, stockings, thigh highs, down and place the toe of the
garment over the foot.
3. Gently smooth one leg all the way up, then repeat on the other leg. Stockings - attach
to garter belt.
4. Pull the rest of the pantyhose up to the waist -- but don't pull too tight. Smooth
fabric while checking for twists and sags.
5. Removing - take off your hosiery as carefully as you put them on. |

Be adventurous !
Update your hosiery collection each season, to keep in fashion, by adding new pairs in the
hottest colors & styles. Wear neutral or nude closest to your skin tone to create the
natural, yet sexy & sophisticated look of bare legs.
Add spice, create new looks, out of old favorite outfits, with textures or patterns, lace,
and fishnet.
Have fun with the many color options by using tinted sheers to pick up an accent color in
an outfit, or add contrast to a neutral dress or suit.
Be honest about your height and weight, proper sizing is a proper fit.
*If, your at the upper end of a size range, it's often wise to get the next size, for
maximum fit and comfort. |

Don't rush putting on your hosiery.
Don't limit your options.
Don't feel confide to "nude" when you think sheers. |

Hosiery Runs ~ |
Nail polish won't prevent hose from
running, but it can temporarily stop a run from doing
any more damage, depending on where it starts.
*Also, make sure not to let it dry on your leg. |

Washing & Drying Hosiery ~ |
Washing
machines: |
Place hosiery in a
hosiery bag or pillow case.
*So they don't get snags on buttons and zippers of the other clothes in the wash load. |
Hand
Washing: |

seperately. |
Detergents: |
Always use mild
detergent.
*Never use bleach. |
Drying: |
Roll hosiery in a towel to
remove moisture, rather than wringing.
Drip dry.
*Never put them in a dryer. |
